Pregnant Rihanna showed off her unique maternity style on Friday as she stepped out for the first time since announcing her second pregnancy at the Super Bowl last Sunday.
The Umbrella hitmaker, 34, dined at Giorgio Baldi’s in Santa Monica and wore an opulent brown fur coat, which she paired with a graphic tee and gray jeans with black stenciled designs.
The Barbados-born superstar completed her outfit with comfortable black trainers and wore her hair parted in the middle and gathered in a ponytail.
The singer – who already shares a nine-month-old son with partner ASAP Rocky – recently revealed she had no idea she was pregnant while filming the cover of British Vogue in December.
She first revealed she was expecting her second child with rapper Praise the Lord as she showed off her baby bump during the halftime show.
The couple have been in a relationship since 2020.
After the Super Bowl and the pregnancy reveal, the couple appeared on the March cover of Vogue.
Speaking to the magazine, Rihanna said Rocky was her “best friend” and admitted she couldn’t remember her life until she had her son in May 2022.
She said of becoming a mother: “That’s it, you really don’t remember life before, it’s the craziest thing ever.”
Rihanna said her first few months as a mother were a rollercoaster and described the birth as a “f**k”, saying she couldn’t believe she came into the hospital pregnant and was she left with a baby.
Rihanna has admitted having a child has also made her re-evaluate as she described raising her son as one of the “scariest” responsibilities of her life.
She said: ‘Raising a young black man is one of life’s most frightening responsibilities…’ You think to yourself, ‘What am I leaving my kids to?’ Is this the planet they’re going to live on?
“Everything changes when you have a baby, but I wouldn’t say it’s done anything, but brought us closer together,” she added.

She also gushed about Rocky’s relationship with their son, saying their baby boy needed his dad’s validation as she described their close bond.
The couple hit the cover of British Vogue on a beach in mid-December. At the time, she didn’t know she was pregnant again.
“How crazy my two babies were in these pics and mom had no idea,” the star wrote on Instagram on Wednesday while proudly sharing footage from the shoot.
As Rihanna triumphantly ended her Super Bowl performance on Friday, she left State Farm Stadium with Rocky carrying their son.
